Receive your access
Hosts receive event management and matching tools and can track their leads in the shared Smitten database to earn matchmaker referral fees.
We collect 15% of the referral fee paid to the event host or lead source.
Selected matchmakers receive access to the Smitten Singles database at no charge. Matchmakers and coaches can post L.O.V.E. content and answer Ask Smitten questions.
Professional standards
Matchmaker Alliance membership is part of the eligibility review for matchmakers. Relevant requirements for coaching services are reviewed during approval.
Matchmakers and coaches are accepted by invite only. We do not accept matchmakers and coaches that charge for database only.
We do not accept fees charged solely for database inclusion. Any fee must include a service beyond being listed. This rule applies to every professional partner.
All partners are subject to ongoing reviews. Poor reviews mean removal.

Where do I apply?

Does approval give everyone the same tools?
No. Hosts receive event tools and lead tracking. Selected matchmakers can search the shared database. Coaches post content and answer questions.
Who owns the data?
Smitten owns the shared database and the data in it. Hosts track their leads there and earn a referral fee when a matchmaker works one. Terms are confirmed separately.
Does Smitten collect a fee on referrals?
Yes. We collect 15% of the referral fee paid to the event host or lead source.
Is access to the Smitten Singles database free?
Yes. Selected matchmakers receive access at no charge. Hosts track their leads there. Coaches do not receive database access.
Can I charge people to be listed in a database?
No. Any fee must include a service beyond database inclusion.
Who can post learning content and answer Ask Smitten questions?
Matchmakers and coaches. Hosts do not post learning content or answer Ask Smitten questions.
Can all three groups earn membership commissions?
Yes. Hosts, matchmakers and coaches can each earn 20% of eligible Smitten Singles membership purchases through their referrals. Enrollment fees are included. Event tickets and product or third-party sales are excluded.
Can I be a host, a matchmaker and a coach?
Yes, if spots are available. You may be approved for only one role.
Are extra agreements required?
They may be. Additional agreements can apply to your role or services. Ashling Events tells you which ones during the review.
Are venues guaranteed?
No. Partners can use the venue directory and contact potential locations, but venue availability is not guaranteed.
